Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sieve platform operated by Ivollv O'Hare Limited (trading as Sieve), company registration number 757643, with registered offices at 6 Dun Riabach Park, Ashbourne, Co. Meath, Ireland A84 PW29 ("we", "us", or "our"). By using Sieve, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Sieve is an AI-powered hiring intelligence platform that helps companies screen CVs, score candidates, generate interview questions, and manage hiring pipelines. The platform is available via subscription at sievecv.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent. By using Sieve, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@sievecv.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Sieve to:

Discriminate against candidates on the basis of protected characteristics (race, gender, age, disability, religion, nationality, etc.)
Upload data you do not have the right to process
Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract our AI models or platform code
Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
Resell or sublicense access to third parties without our written consent

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of Sieve complies with applicable employment and data protection law in your jurisdiction.

5. Candidate Data & GDPR

When you upload CV data to Sieve, you are acting as a data controller and we act as a data processor under GDPR. You warrant that you have a lawful basis for processing candidate data and that candidates have been informed their data may be processed by third-party tools. Our Data Processing Agreement is available on request.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All prices are in USD and exclusive of VAT where applicable. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

7. Free Tier

The free Starter plan is provided as-is with no SLA. We may modify or discontinue the free tier at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Intellectual Property

Sieve and all associated technology, trademarks, and content are owned by us. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in our intellectual property except as expressly set out here. You retain all rights in the data and content you upload.

9. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is". We make no warranties that Sieve will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI scoring outputs will be accurate. AI-generated scores and questions are tools to assist decision-making — final hiring decisions remain your responsibility.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sieve shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or platform notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
